Early FJ45 Tailgate Hinges

After numerous Emails and conversations with people who own 45's about what people wanted, I went with the removable pin design. The concensus was people wanted to be able to remove the tailgate with out having to un-bolt it.
This has been a long process, I had enough made to do 15 tailgates. I'm still working out the price for everything, should know by this afternoon.

Great work.. Listen.. If you need any help with these, just send me an email. I will ask my guy here to show how he does the pins and you can do that over there. Its not too difficult. I can send youpictures of the process. No issues.

Just a thought to toss out. But you could make them something like the front (where the bezel hangs) piece comes off the hinge on the flattened side of the pin. That way you would have the "pin" welded on both sides, but at, say, 45* the tailgate would pull off.
