I like the sway mod on your bumper. Looks like a blast! Thanks for sharing buddy!

Great pictures! Looks like a fun time.

Thanks for giving us a little preview. Can't wait to run this trail

That's just North of Rodeo Meadow. My sons and I walked it on the North side of the trail this season to see where it goes.

What's the track width of your 8os? This is 84-1/2 inches and has been through three times. Wheel base is 120".

I was wondering who put all those scrape marks on the trees! :p

Per owner's manual my WB is 112" and my track is 63". Track must be measured at the wheel centerline, however. My overall width at the widest point (outside edge of tires) is 75.5".

I seriously don't know how anything 84.5" made it through that trail, end-to-end! I was fractions of an inch between some obstacles. Not a good trail for any 80 on which you aren't willing to risk a little bent sheet metal (even with excellent spotting!).

I'm looking forward to hearing from whoever runs it next!

There are many scrape marks on the trees my rig doesn't get anywhere near,I think it's people not paying attention. I measured the 84.5" from outside of sidewall to outside of sidewall. So,it's only 9" wider than yours. :p We will be running it again next month.

And now, the photos you've all been waiting for - trail carnage! As I said I was fortunate. All of these will be covered by U-Pol.

I think these happened when my RF wheel dropped into a hole (hard!) and a rock pushed my ARB into the lower front fender and the valance.

What, isn't that where everyone carries their spare anti-sway bar? ;)
Seriously, though, I'd like to find a good place to mount it if I want to remove it for a tough trail. I drive my 80 to the trails, and prefer my freeway handling with it on. However, with the drop brackets it does hang down a little. I didn't notice it affecting my articulation in any way, though. Maybe Slee will come up with a mounting accessory for ARB bumpers. Until then, I guess it's duct tape and plastic ties...

Just stencil Dusy-Ershim next to the dents and wear em as trophies.

Hey Ed,

I was wondering when you last ran Dusy in that I-H? I heard that last year (I think) they had a lot of trees go down on the trail. They cut & removed log sections, but left the main trunks where they fell. A couple of those cuts were fairly tight...

Anyway, best of luck with your run!

Yeah, I think many of those "scrape marks" are actually blazes to mark the trail. At least the ones in the wider areas...
