I'm out, camping and fishing that was postponed due to last week's weather is on this weekend ya'll have fun.

I went to the new park last saturday/sunday and it is a HUGE improvement over the old. I spent about 2 hours at the old 4x4 area and then went back to the new part. the 2 hours were pulling stuck vehicles out, getting stuck myself, etc. Only thing I think the new part is missing is the huge "play pens" like "Grand Canyon", and those types of areas. Other than that, it was a blast. You guys have fun. I still have mud underneath and inside 4 days later.

I did not have service 5 miles past I-20. I would suggest you make sure your CB is working 100% out there and post what channel you will be on. It's very easy to find, plug the coordinates into your nav and you will be fine. Other than the camp site, I had very blotchy cell service, and when I got it. I still could not make a phone call since it was 1 bar. I have IPhone 4 on AT&T.

Wow, what a day.... my first legit off-road run. it was very slick out there! Who needs recovery gear when you have Josh and Ted around? Next time I will be a little more prepared, eg. correct leaf springs, correct shackles, maybe some lockers.

Sorry I missed it guys. I had everything ready to go, and the alarm set for 6am. Then my son stayed up all night with a terrible cough. I felt bad leaving him crying in the morning so I stayed with the fam. We'll get together definitely for the Gulches if not earlier.
