I am in for this weekend guys. Chance for rain on Saturday is now at 20 percent it should be fine....rightttttttt :)

Mike

I say move it to the next weekend because of the rain. I have have some issues to work out on my truck after last week anyhow.

BS--Tell that old man of your to get off his prostrate and go wheeling, we'll avoid the mud puddles and get him a skirt (a yellow one :flipoff2:) if he wants.

What time are we meeting? And where?

What direction is everyone coming from? I will be coming from Buford where my truck is so I will be going through Athens to get there not across 20 like the people that leave closer to Atlanta.

We could always just meet at Durhamtown at 10AM and ride go there or if you guys want to caravan let me know what everyone is close to so we get a good meeting place.

He wants to get the mini truck done so he can wheel circles around your truck even more then he does with his 40 :flipoff2:

Cant blame him for that but come on, what do we build them for anyway? Oh John... where are you?

I was wanting to get some more black and whites of your Dad wheeling his 40. I got a couple at the gulches, but did not have my bearing when I was shooting pictures.
What do you think of that T-shirt idea I had from your picture.... I am making one for myself just for the heck of it....

I'm coming from East Snobb. I-75 to I-20.

10:00 sounds good. I need to return a Uhaul at 7:00am, then I'll be on my way.

My guess is for those that live in or around the perimeter the best way to to go out I-20. Cid lives out in Conyers so you can probably hook up with him at a given time and then caravan from there.

From their website:
From Atlanta, GA:

We Recommend the following route from Atlanta:

From I-20 East, Take Exit 130 to Greensboro. Take a left off of the exit (light) 2 MILES

At the 1st traffic light in Downtown Greensboro, take a right. Take a left at the next traffic light (The old Hardees building will be on your right)

Follow straight for 11 miles through the Penfield Community into Woodville. In Woodville at the caution light, go straight (crossing over Hwy 77 in Woodville.) PEACHTREE STREET

Continue on the main road for 3.3 miles to the stop sign. ( Please note: 1.5 miles bear right in curve) At the 4-way stop, take a left onto Randolph Church Rd and go 3.5 miles, Durhamtown will be on your right.

As I live in Cumming so I'm going out through the Gainesville /Athens corridor:

From Athens, GA:

Take Hwy 15 South towards Greensboro - Cross Oconee River Bridge (Iron Horse). Take 2nd Left (Macedonia Road). Go 6 miles - Dead End on Hwy 77 in Maxey's, GA. Turn right and go 5 miles to Woodville. Turn left at caution light Peachtree Street , go 1.5 miles and bear right around sharp curve. At the stop sign, take a left on to Randolph Church Road. Go 3.5 miles and the Lodge is on the right.

10 AM @ Durhamtown

for those going through Athens, we're meeting at the Kroger Sopping Ctr at 9AM. Location is Hwy78 and Hwy 10 on the SW side of Athens.

Ya'll have a good ride and be safe, try not to feel so riddled with guilt when your thinking of me over at ACC wrenching on the raffle rig :D, :flipoff2:,.

Guys,

Sorry but I cant make it. My mom has cancer and has been battling it for the last 4 years and she isnt doing well as of yesterday so I need to go up and spend some time with her.

Thanks,

Mike

Anyone coming down I-20? We can meet at the SuperWalMart here in Covington. Exit 93 Hazelbrand Rd. Exit off I-20 Eastbound and the Walmart is right there on your right. I will be in my red Tacoma. Anyone wanting to meet needs to be there by 9:00 to be in Durhamtown by 10:00. Post up or pm me so I will know who is coming.

Riddles with guilt huh, yea I thought about that. Issue is we've had this ride scheduled for 3 months so no backing out now, believe me we'll be there in spirit. Just make sure there aren't any parts left over at the end.

I wish I coulda stayed the entire time. Had a great time. Here are a few photos and a link to the album:
