IIRC the weakness of the 14 bolt is its lack of gear range vs the 60.

ZF 6-speed has a 0.50 overdrive, which helps the issue. It's quite a gearbox. We're still thinking we'll go to at least 33s.

We have some ideas on how to get the TLC transfercase to bolt to it, but we are not sure if the front driveshaft will clear the transmisson and likely transmission shifter will be interfering with the dash.I think there's a reason Proffitt's requires at least a 4" lift and 35s their deisel conversions (They use the 4bt though, IIRC).![]()
