Yep... it has to go on a trailer. Still haven't sorted out the tyres for the trailer yet (it has the old splits from the 45 on it atm so I could get it home. Still have to wire it up, install the battery and run power to the cruiser, make a fridge slide and slide out kitchen in the trailer and make some awnings.

Are you gonna weld the rest of that pristine 80 back on, now that you don't need the tray?:flipoff2:

Nah, might convert the cruiser to dual fuel (propane and unleaded) and put a 130lt lpg tank in there. That will give me about 2300km range between drinks. That way I'll only have to stop to let the :princess: pee now and then.

While you are at it go ahead and install some electric hybrid system and you will never stop again!

Super job, way past my capabilities!

the tent on the trailer makes way more sense to me. you can leave it at camp, lower COG, easier to get in and out of ...
nice.

Wish I had this kind of talent, and, time to go places like you do!

really, really love this mod on the 80s. seems like the standard issue ozzy dual cab/tray back mod i keep seeing from down unda! what i don't get is that this makes perfect sense yet i don't see many in n.america take the plunge! (including me! lol) maybe we're just too scared to do serious chopping....lol.

and i think you guys have waaay more roof top tent options to choose from! love that set up with the trailer!

Your project is impressive. Not a Cruiser but I spotted this cut-down Tacoma in San Francisco one night...it's on the road to becoming a tray-back.
