so i have this FJ45 sitting here and it doesn't look like it is going to sell so...
i am thinking of doing a 13BT swap into it with the H55F and split case, it already has the 70 series rear diff and the birfield eliminator lit up front with disc...
probably just another dream that will get lost in the shuffle but what do you think?
maybe a 4 door crew cab...
just dreaming out loud...

If its got a nice body leave it. Do the engine/gearbox swap,fit a fibreglass canopy on the back and add some side facing troopy seats.
Very original and versatile.
It will drive itself out the front door

Put a Vortec V8 and FI in it, find a set of Unimog axles and monster swampers...mount a .50 cal in the back and paint it flat black...

Now if you had said drop in a 4.7 V8 toyota motor, or even the D4D new diesel ok but now you through in Chevy. You should be ashamed

just an old 77 long bed...
i have a set of recovered side long jump seats for in the back and the wife does not like th eseats in the 75 and they were just redone as well so the 45 would end up with a split bench. make another cage for the back. don't forget the propane injection for the turbo'd 1HZ... 250 hp still toyota diesel HZJ45.. sound deadner the doors and a fiberglass gozzard roof, cricky i could end up with a sweet 45....
