Back in August I placed an order with Doug Thorley Headers. They accepted the payment and gave me a 12-16 week lead time. When that time came and went I started asking when I could expect my headers but got no response for about a month. Just yesterday I heard back and was told they do not plan to make the headers for the foreseeable future and are initiating a refund. Has anyone heard anything else from them. It seems a little crappy that they held my money for 5 months, then decided not to make the product. I'd love to get a set, but it looks like I might be too late to the party.

Same exact thing happened to me, I ordered in late July. Was told delivery date of late October/early November. Late October I reached out and had to send multiple emails just to get a response. After getting a response I was told that they were still coming in November, still nothing. Canceled in December and asked for a refund (which I got after a week). Just going to live with the exhaust tick for now and might consider an alternative in the future but I will not order directly from DT again horrible service. If someone could fab some headers and sell them for $700-800 they would sell like hotcakes

these are not stainless. another member mentioned to me there might be some contact issues to contend with. i'm in the market for headers as well, due to ticking manifolds. price is in AUD, as they're in Australia. they have an eBay listing. if you live in the rust belt I doubt these are for you. maybe they can ship them raw and you can have them ceramic coated.

cut, weld, make these fit? one review of these headers, stated they can be made to a gx470. I believe THY-561-SS-C are listed to fit both the gx470 and lx470.

interested as well - got the same answer from DT. I know a group buy was put together a few years back that prompted them to produce a run. Not sure we can gather enough interest to.

Can't be that hard to find X amount of people who need to replace their headers I know I need to.
 
What's the deal with those "log" manifolds? Same configuration as stock but with better flanges?
 
I'd be in on a group buy. I looked all over for these headers about a month back. Finally reached out to DT and was told the same - no plan to produce more.

Being a DT dealer does not get you any better customer service. Last communication I heard from them was in July of 2025.

Since then I've emailed them at least a dozen times with no response. Currently I have one customer's money captive that I will likely have to refund.

I'll try one or two more times before I give up. May have just been some corporate turnover madness.
 
I emailed them regarding the headers on 1/12 and received a response on 1/14 stating,

“unfortunately we are still out of stock on this part and will not be manufacturing them in the foreseeable future.”

they seem responsive just not interested in producing - save us with a group buy?
