On my ‘64 both doors are missing the brackets that limit the door from opening and breaking the side mirror….ugh. They both pulled off at some point I suppose.

SOR has them and I would order them, but shipping is $50…when it should be about $6…throw them in a bag and send them. I’ve heard they have high shipping, but that is wild.

Any other options for someone that is not technical with welding, etc?

I stole the attached pic from another thread. ;-)

It would not be hard to bend one up. This one was poorly repaired sometime in the past. I was able to remove it, repair the metal under it then tack it back on.

My tabs on the door were cut off so i did a quick and dirty fix by drilling a small hole where the tabs were on the door and attaching a small section of black 1" tubular webbing with a sheet metal screw and ran the other end thru the body hole with a knot. still works after 16 years.
