How well do your doors line up - relative to the body and each other?

I was just noticing that it looks to me like my front doors stick out more than the leading edge (or front) of my rear doors.

So to say it another way, the back edge of my front doors seems to stick out a little more than the front edge of my rear doors.

Does anyone else have that?

I'll try to grab a pic, I was in a hurry when I noticed this.

I am just about to start working on my doors too. They are all over the place! And they don't stay shut. What up with that? It seems that none of the 55 doors stay shut. Am I the only one with this?

When you start adjusting your doors remember you can adjust from the body side as well as from the door side. I think that the body side of the hinge is more of an up and down adjust while the door side is more of an in and out adjust. That sound right?

That sounds good to know, I will see if I can adjust at all.

Obviously check the pins on the hinges to see if they are loose. likely need a rebuild.

As for the back side sticking out, I had homemade door panels on my truck that didn't fit right and wouldn't allow the door to close properly. Also check the trim channel or the weatherstripping to see if it's stopping it.

I'd guess it's a combination of alignment and needing a hinge overhaul

I got a chance to look at the hinges.

you can adjust door placement in the body opening where the hinge mounts to the body - so fore and aft movement, up and down.

You can how far in or out the doors stick out where the hinges mount to the door.

SOR seems to treat the lower hinges as unique, different parts for front and rear doors.

TOYDIY lists the same p/n for lower hinges whether you are looking at the front door or rear door:
