We switched out dog over to Nutro Ultra Large Breed, and the dog eats less of it. She doesn't lose weight either, she just chooses not to eat as much. She also clearly prefers the taste, since she won't even look at the old stuff anymore. We wanted her to finish off the old stuff, so we mixed the old stuff in with the new stuff, and even then she still picked though it and only ate the Nutro Ultra. This dog is a frickin' brat.... :)
