Dog eats her own crap.

My dog likes his food so much, he eats it twice.

Other than the bad breath, it doesn't really bother me too much. Kind of a dog thing. I usually tell him to quit eating it when I see him, then give him a treat when he stops. Partly for obeying, but also to help with the bad breath. I don't want to think about how much of it he eats when I'm not looking.

On the serious side we have a GWP that is a recovery dog (a beotch abandoned him and he was out on his own for months...nothing but skin and bone when we took him in)...and he'll do that to...I assume from just trying to keep from starving to death after the beotch abandoned him. Anyway the ONLY thing...and we tried EVERYTHING (spinach, tripe dog food, special expensive powders, yogurt, bananas, sweet potatoes...anything that someone told us would work ) and NOTHING worked except keeping his poop cleaned up IMMEDIATELY. I even tried the mild setting on a shock/correction collar...that didn't work for very long either. One thing that does reduce the tendency to dine on his excrement is feeding him a higher carb diet. Too much protein in his diet presents a problem...
