my plastic 55fan will not mount onto the 2F wp, and 1F shroud does not fit a 77 clutch-fan.

Let me know If your interested in any of the following (left over from swap):
55 plastic cooling fan/spacer
2F alternator/bracket
1F water pump recently installed
2F valve cover
1F fan shroud
4spd Bell-housing
4spd flywheel
2F intake/exhaust
2F smog pump w/o bracket
2F dizzy
2F side-cover
old cranky 1F
77 2F starter
(air plumbing along the top of head are a few ends short...twisted off)

anychance you have dimensions on what you need? I've got 2 shrouds, not sure what they came off of.

I understand now

You need a shroud. I only have the one. :) If you have pics of potential candidates with measurements, I could measure mine to see if it's a match.

Is there a hard fuel return line in that picture? What carb did you go with? I may want to visit that pile in a week or two...

Manny,

I have some fans and shrouds. Let me know the dimensions and I'll look in my pile.

You got PM.

Clutch fan takes a little more than 18", direct drive plastic or metal takes a 17" M/L. BTDT. The larger shroud(Clutch type) will have 4 bolt holes on one side and three on the other. The smaller will have 3 on each side. HTH

the following items are gone...
2F alternator/bracket
1F water pump recently installed
1F fan shroud
77 2F starter
2F dizzy
55 plastic fan/spacer
maybe exhaust, and intake

I'll verify the OD on my fan and some measurements of shroud mounting locations this evening.

Thanks for the info Ed.

So that's a 'no' on the fuel return line?

How much for the bell housing?

Sorry Eddy,
I tried to save it, but I was just too late...it was a casualty of the install (2F).

as far as the 4spd BH, would you also need the other 4spd stuff (Flywheel/pressure plate)?
What year was your shroud from?

My buddy Ryan came through on the shroud :D
Ryan comes through again

thanks guys for everything, and let me know If you could use any thing that's left from the spare parts :
2F valve cover
4spd Bell-housing
4spd flywheel
maybe 2F intake/exhaust
2F smog pump w/o bracket
2F side-cover
old cranky 1F
(air plumbing along the top of head are a few ends short...twisted off)

My shroud is from, and installed on, my '78. I've only got the one. It's the 4-bolt,3-bolt version as described above. I could measure whatever you need. Photos would be more difficult, but not impossible.

I'd probably be interested in the other 4 speed parts if the price was right, or if they were newish. I've got a nice h42/4speed case I'm going to sell, and the bell housing will go along with it nicely for someone to upgrade from a 3 speed.

How about If you checkout the BH/FW/pressure plate, and give me whatever you think there worth?
The BH doesn't come w/clutch slave, and may be missing side brackets...but may be the same as 3spd?

Parts are currently in South SF, but I could bring them to SF if that's more convenient.

give me a call, I'll pm you my cell.
thanks,
manny

list is getting shorter:
2F valve cover
2F side-cover
old cranky 1F

Hey Manny,

If no one has spoken for them, I would be interested in the 2f Valve cover and side cover. Let me know if you still have them.

Still want to do an East Bay get together?

Brian,
They are yours.
Easy Bay thing will prob. happen in Jan, after the holidays.

Give me a call If you need them sooner, otherwise I could bring them then...
manny

Thanks Manny, I can wait until January. Don't know what I did with your #, but you should have mine in your phone from SnT, so if you need the parts out of the way before Jan, give me a call and I can meet you at your work. Thanks again.

Brian

Brian,
Jan. is fine...will hold onto your parts until then.

Fast Eddy,
Sent PM...let me know what you want to do?
There's a guy in Oregon that wants those parts, but your 1st and I would prefer not to ship...
