Has anyone installed one of these Bluetooth amplifiers, or similar? My in dash Kenwood receiver just isn’t loud enough when driving. Can I connect my in dash head unit to one of these?

Okay thanks Matt, I wanna get an idea of what is involved before I pull my heating components out to access the back of the radio….Yes you wire it into a deck like any amp, so a pair of RCA’s then wire speakers to amp then power/ground. Only thing different about this is that it has Bluetooth built in. Only want Bluetooth audio? Then ditch the kenwood.
Yes I figured one of those would fit perfectly in the glove box. Question- how much heat does it generate? Does it get too hot to touch? I heard they can get hot.I have one that is very similar to this and mounted in my glove-box, off the side so you really cannot even see it. Im also using a NOS Pioneer vintage 80's tape deck, but the B/T works great and connects when you turn on the radio, using cassette turns it off.
Can post pics if you like.
I too was concerned about that but honestly these systems now use much smaller and more efficient components and the heat buildup isn’t that bad at all. Unless I imagine you live in south Arizona or somewhere where the temperatures can get really high it’s also super easy to put a micro CPU fan in there if you needed deep air circulating. But I’ve never had an issue with it.Yes I figured one of those would fit perfectly in the glove box. Question- how much heat does it generate? Does it get too hot to touch? I heard they can get hot.
