That is why I'm going for a boiler rather than a catalytic heater. Not only is the boiler outside the passenger compartment, all it's exhaust is also. Being a forced draft flue system it should not generate much carbon monoxide, just carbon dioxide and water vapor.
 
I have the 3-burner model, I really like it. BUT... it can really stink up the garage and the burning propane tends to produce a lot of moisture so be prepared for a lot of frost on the windows. I would not use one in a garage that is attached to your house, the smell will carry into your house and your wife/GF/SO will start complaining and get a headache. I speak from experience on this... :(

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Headache under those conditions likely equals carbon monoxide poisoning. Aspirin won't work. No pain killer would. Fresh air is the only solution short of going to a hospital to get whatever treatment they do to get it out of the system faster.
