Hi Guys,

I wanted to start a new post here to share the details of the Rooftop Tents, Awnings, and Awning accessories that we offer.

Dobinsons is a family run, Queensland Australia based business, and they have been making suspension since 1953. In 2010, Dobinsons expanded their range to include bumpers, racks, fridges, and a whole range of 4x4 accessories. This year, Dobinsons is expanding into the US market. We stock in Miami, Florida.

Due to the popularity of crocodiles eating tourists in central and north Queensland, Dobinsons had to have a quality RTT for their local tropical climate. We went with the most reliable and robust design, making sure the quality was as good as it could be. The Dobinsons RTT comes with the annex included, making this a 4 person tent once everything is all setup.

You can mount it 2 different ways off the vehicle, depending on your vehicle's rear door/hatch setup, and your roof rack orientation too.

Information about our Awnings.

Our Roll Out Awnings create a comfortable environment anywhere you want to stop for a breather or set up camp.

The versatility and ease of deployment make our awnings a must have for novices and serious 4WDers.

We have three different versions of rectangular awnings with an optional 'Quick-Tent' or 'Mosquito Net Enclosure', that change your camping to glamping.

Sizes:

• 1.4M Long x 2.0M Out (4.6FT x 6.5FT), Small
• 2.0M Long x 3.0M Out (6.5FT x 9.8FT), Medium
• 2.5M Long x 3.0M Out (8.0FT x 9.8FT), Large

If you are looking for extra versatility, we have our amazing 'Sensu' awning. Fashioned after the traditional Japanese folding fan, the awning covers over 10m2 and opens 270 degrees.

• Dobinsons sells cross bars separately to be able to install our awnings with factory roof rails

No, they're made in China. I don't think anyone is actually making tents in Australia anymore. ARB used to have some, but they were $3500. After taking them to China, they were $1500 for the same model.
