Dobinson spring users?

Hello Coldtaco,

The best i can do is give an honest take on what i've got, and it may not be as useful as you might like. My Troopie has Dobbinson springs installed, i'm told they are they medium-duty ones (i haven't checked). I have no standard of comparison, as the last time i drove a 70 series was too long ago. So for whatever it's worth, here goes: i've no complaints about the ride, however i don't give a damn about it, i keep my tires at 60psi (looking for lower fuel consumption); in 14 months of use, possibly i'm too ignorant to know any better, but i've no issues. This is rather simple, but it's all i've got. Yes the car rides rough, you can tell what year the quarter you just drove over was minted in, etc, etc. But it has never complained.

Hey guys, we will be stocking these springs in Miami, just an FYI. The 70 series market here is blowing up, so we're bringing appropriate stock for them (front and rear bumpers, full suspension, snorkels, drawers, and all the other bits too)

Great to hear, good luck
