Do I need to swap oil pans?

I have a 4wd engine to put into my 2wd and I noticed the oil pans are different. Do I have to use a 2wd oil pan? The 2wd oil pan I have is trashed and is not usable. They are both 22r engines btw.

Yes, you have to swap. The sumps are in opposite ends of the pan, so you also have to swap the oil pickup tube.

That's what I was afraid of... Now all I need is to find a decent pan.

Or have the pan welded up... Shouldn't be too big of a deal. How bad off is it?

its pretty mangled. I'm actually a welder for a living and I wouldn't attempt to fix it. It has been smashed very hard a few times from the PO jumping it...
