i own a old triumph tr6 and one of the better upgrades i did was install a petronix

(this weekend i replaced the rear main seal/put in a fidanza aluminum flywheel/ and a magic clutch kit which

i believe has a fj60 throw out bearing!--rebuilt over drive trans is next)

forgive the ignorance here as i 'm on a long learning curve w/my fj60

what type of diizzy do we have and if there are points etc...in there

is there a go to solid state upgrade?

The Toyota USA FJ60 distributor is electronic and is considered the best one (by far) for this engine. No points.

Thanks output I really had no idea

The tr6 got the flywheel it weighs just under 12lbs about half the factory unit...should free up some revs any time I can save on labor I'll spend on performance

OS, sounds like he installed the fly wheel in his Triumph, TR6; not his Land Cruiser. A light weight wheel makes more sense on a sports car.

I agree that it would be a comically bad choice for the 2F.
