Dissent Skids are back & other Dissent product news

First time changing my oil with the skids on. The Dissent Dudes freaking thought of everything.

I totally get why they didn’t mess with putting in a small door for the filter. 6 bolts to drop the service skid, and way more space than a tiny opening.

Nice notch in the Engine skid allows for the filter to come out easily, and pan is easily accessible with the EZ drain in place.

They also put access to the front drive shaft zerk as well so you can hit all the zerks without removing anything.

TRD Grey powdercoat complete. Matches powdercoat on my BudBuilt gas tank skid.

Went with a lighter color so less contrast with scratches vs a darker color.

if anyone is interested the color code is T243-GR522 Cardinal powder coat.

And installed. I’d say 1/2-2/3 of the cats are covered. Obviously way better than OE. Hopefully crackhead bob won’t make the attempt for a partial.

There’s an Australian company (or Israeli) out there that makes a tcase skid. Thinking it might provide that last bit of protection I’d like to have. Whether or not it’ll be compatible with the Dissent and BB skids is tbd.

The Dissent skids are top notch. Looks great. I don't see any issue bolting up the Budbuilt Transfer Case skid to your Dissent Transmission skid.

I would recommend the budbuilt transfer case skid, as their supplied crossmember doesn't go over the fuel tank skid which would reduce clearance.

I don't have first hand experience installing them with Dissent skids but it appears they would be compatible, or at least easily be made compatible.
