Aaah, now I see. I didn’t zoom in originally so I didn’t see the straps…thought it was a latching mechanism instead of a hook. Thanks for the reply👍🏼

@Tommy Dwyer if you’re not looking to spend $150 on some ratchet straps.

What kind of jerry can tie down are these?
I asked Ben about those latches last year and he said they had to discontinue due to the amount of time/work involved (along with keeping it at a reasonable price). I believe the single basket is the new solution for this (in post #635).

damn thats a bummer, really like them. I do remember it being a no brainer price when I got them though.

Now that I've seen this and can't have it, I want it even more.

Hello,

First post here. Here's a recent picture of my LX with a Dissent front bumper. Last week, I received the good news that my Dissent rear bumper is on schedule to ship some time this week. I will post more pics after I install the bumper. Earlier this year, I acquired my LX from Ben Easley of Overland Trail Guides and I'm just continuing what Ben had started.

@LXPanda not a bad way to spend $5k in BD lights!

Can I ask when you ordered the rear bumper? I have one on the way and I'm wondering if it's getting close being ready.

Thanks! Actually, those are clones. I spent less than $500 for all 10 of them. They're bright enough for me and I've had them for over two years. They were originally on my 80. As they say in Hong Kong, same same, but different.

I ordered mine in the beginning of February. I know 14 to 18 weeks seem far, but after three or four weeks, the anxiety went away and I got busy with other stuff. Next thing I know, I'm one to two weeks away from delivery. Hang in there!

I ordered mine in January and the last I heard was more weeks than that. Hmmm, I guess I need to be a bigger pest.

Just got a quote today and they are still saying 14-16 weeks, guess that's not all that accurate?!

Not sure. When I ordered in early Jan it was 14 to 16 weeks. I was expecting it about now. I talked to Cole a week before Cruise Moab and he was telling me another 6 to 8 weeks. Was not happy about that.

Bummer. I inquired about a bumper for another make/model vehicle they don't currently offer but have made for an "influencer" and they told me they likely won't offer it in aluminum due to rising costs for the material. That might be part of the reason for delay with your bumper as well?!

I ordered bumpers and skids in September of 2021 and Dissent shipped the order 22 weeks later, so their estimate of 20 to 24 weeks sounds about right.

It's painfully frustrating to wait so long, but your order will arrive. And it will be awesome.

"Good things come to those that wait."
Ive had both mine for a while and it was a long wait even several years ago but they are worth it!
