haha, it ain't the scariness, I just have better things to do on my day off than sit in a greasy old rattly truck for 4 hours...usually pretty sick of driving by the time the weekend comes around.

hey just an fyi if your slave does some bed pooping, that cheap one we were talking about isn't the right part #.
my guy came up with the same part number as you, but looks like it's a 2f slave or something.


Off to make another attempt today.

It's downright sketchy trying to move that ginpole around with heavy s*** hanging off it, and no clutch pedal...:lol:
 
SOR has specs in their rebuild parts area.
 
I don't think I changed clutch masters when I put a 3b in my old 45.

I think the masters are all the same, it's just whether they're 2 bolt or 3 bolt mounts.

tried adjusting the push rods?


no luck finding a slave at lordco. grabbing one from them rad dudes tomorrow.

they don't unfortunately, bolt spacing is way different. Had the fj one in my hand and did a side by side.

considered it briefly, only because I needed my truck today, but not worth the hassle when I can just buy the correct one.

costs 40 bucks more, but can't win em all.

( still won the bet steve....:flipoff2:)

should work tho, my 79 had the same master as you, ( 3bolt) and the same slave as on the 70. ( and 60's, and 42's)

it's all the same crap.

EEEASY..... lets not do anything crazy here. My current PS pump is weaping. Go easy. ;)

now now, you can't be insinuating the Ho Crane was built without meticulous engineering and sobriety.

And besides, it's bad form to give out the Horses Ass Award posthumously, at that point it becomes a Darwin Award, and the judges have to vote on it etc.


Probably much simpler for you to just go park in a river again, flex the mighty biceps as you try to pull the tow strap against the current, and be rewarded with a nice shiney trophy.
