Reading the original link it looks like donations have dried up and the activist is still looking for a lawyer and web designer. I'm pretty sure my $25 has a better chance of stopping world hunger. Let me know how it goes.

Dom's post doesn't give a positive impression. However, I think his post is more an example of his frustration than how the legal battle is going or its chances to win.

You know yourself that in most groups 90% of the work is done by 10% of the members. I think Dom expected a lot more help in terms of people giving time also.

Right now he needs an actuary to move to the next step. If anyone knows one who would be willing to be a professional witness, then let me know or speak to Dom directly. I suggested he find one in Quebec or Ontario. I guess he hasn't had any luck, so we might as well look at the whole country for one. Then we will have some idea of what it will cost for an actuaries services and travel for the court case.

Wayne is the key contact with Dom back East. If you have specific questions, it would be good to direct them to him. I know he has sunk a lot more than $200 - $300 into the legal battle in Quebec. You know Wayne is a bit of a hard head and not one for wasting his money or time on losing causes or people who won't get the job done.

Bruce, if you got another $25 for world hunger, I am sure the organization I work for will take it.

yah, when it comes to giving away money i am a bit old school.
i don't give to organizations that take a huge chunk of it for "administrative fees" or political motivated. <Bruce also knows me personally and i speak my mind.>

i have met with Dom and donated $500 of my own megar funds to the fight. i have a have dozen RHD vehicles and i enjoy driving them freely, i want to keep on driving them. Luxury is dead and even if Dom wins i highly doubt it will bounce back from the debt that this whole mess since 2007 has caused, so the donation wasn't business motivated.

i love being able to stick it to the government who try desperately to control each and every one of us. the government and their minions are there to SERVE US, not the other way around. CADA and CCMTA think they can force us to do as they will for us and i disagree. i WANT THE FREEDOM to drive what i chose to drive, not what i am allowed to drive. if sticking $500 into Dom's pocket helps to win this battle as well as the hundreds (if not thousands) of hours that IVOAC's committee has invested (including me) then it is resources well invested.

Bruce, if you feel your $25 was a poor investment please send me an email and as your long time friend i will be happy to reimburse your cost.

i met with Dom and even though he is a kid (in my eyes) he is motivated and is trying to succeed in this fight. this is more than anyone else is trying to do on ALL OF OUR behalf (APVIC is also trying hard for the dealers) he has a lawyer but he needs help now, not funds. if anyone can invest some time to help him out please contact him and let him know of your desire. even if a few can invest a small amount of effort it will add up to much.
