I am not doing group buys for white kits but I am selling other colors for retail! Lower than other places online though

Just thought I'd share my all red setup:D Dome lights are high powered 24SMD 5050 LED panels(this panel is brighter than the regular 48SMD LED panel that I had originally..diodes are larger in comparison to the diodes in the 48LED panel) and map lights in this pic are only 5SMD LED bulbs but I can supply high powered 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 SMD 5050 LED(3x 24SMD LED for the 80 series because it essentially has a dome light for a map light). And now, a red setup which is bright:D I can also do all green(to match the toyota gauges), amber(to keep the same lighting features of OEM but much brighter), blue(for those rice rocket guys), white(for the clean look) and warm white(for those who want a less intense clean look that is more peaceful for the eyes). The best part? The dome and map light panels are guaranteed to match each other perfectly

Got any pics of the warm white? How much for all 3 and the doors?

Do you want the doors to be warm white as well?

Did you check out the 80 series LED madness thread, pfran has a great kit in store if you are not picky about the "warm" white! Mine and pfran's kits are similar but he does not have additional color options and I believe he provides backup dome lights in the kits(which is a plus for those who want to be on the safe side in case a panel or bulb fails)

The price for the color matched warm white components to cover the whole 80 series is $54.90 shipped to your door;) High powered 5050 SMD LED are what comes on the panels and bulbs, the diodes are 2-3 times larger than a regular SMD diode

$54.90 is for three panels and 4 bulbs? What do warm white look like?

I will get a picture of the warm whites by the next two days! I would describe warm white as a less painful white LED light. It does not hurt the eyes but it improves lighting by 10000000%

Sounds good. I look forward to seeing the pics.

Would these work for the brake lights also??

These would not work for brake lights because the brake lights are dual filament bulbs (1157) and the reverse and turn lights are single filament bulbs (1156). The 1157s allow you to have tail lights/running lights as well as brake lights.

Sylvania - Lamp Replacement Guide:

Rear turn signal
1156
1156ST SilverStar: The brighter, whiter signal light. Up to 30% brighter light, up to 20% whiter light and up to 10% farther and wider.
1156LL SYLVANIA Long Life miniature bulbs perform twice as long as any standard miniature bulb. Designed for durability, lower maintenance and greater safety.

Stop light and tail light
1157
1157ST SilverStar: The brighter, whiter signal light. Up to 30% brighter light, up to 20% whiter light and up to 10% farther and wider.
1157LL SYLVANIA Long Life miniature bulbs perform twice as long as any standard miniature bulb. Designed for durability, lower maintenance and greater safety.

Back up light

Yeah that was a dumb question, I already knew the answer, I think what I was trying to ask was does anyone run LEDs

Mike I couldn't find any 194's on that site for the front marker lights, any idea where those could be?

And would puting the LED bulbs in for the head lights would it be ok or would I run into the same problem as HID's in the stock housings with the light being too bright and scattered?

You seem to be the man to go to with these questions.

I run after market tail lights so my brake and running lights are a grid of LEDs. I do have LED back up lights and LED turn signals. You can install an 1157 LED bulb for brake and tail but make sure they are as bright or brighter than stock. This is something you don't want to skimp on.

194s are the same as your license plate lights, dash illumination lights, and side marker lights.

194 168 W5W 2825 Map Led Parking Signal Marker Bulbs

Miniature Wedge Base Bulbs - Super Bright LEDs

As for the front side markers, I installed both JDM markers (with amber 194s) and replaced the 194 with a dual 1157 LED bulb.

what do you think about these for the tail lights?

Super Bright S25 1210 40-SMD LED Light Bulb - 1156 or 1157

and what about headlights would LED bulbs work in stock housings or would it scatter the light too much and run into the same problems as HID's in stock housings?

I have no personal experience with that style for taillights.

As far as headlights go, the technology is on the verge of becoming a reality but not quite there. I don't feel there is an LED, you can use for your headlights, that would compare with HID at this point in time. Maybe tomorrow though, you never know.

Here is the only after market LED headlight that I was aware of:

Sorry maybe for the stupid question but i Could find info on how you are dealing with voltage when putting leds in switches? How i understand the regular micro-bulbs are running on 12v and leds on 3.9v. And when putting Led in place of bulb there is no space to put a resistor. Any secrete?

Buy bulbs that are designed and packaged for 12v. Plug and play.

Ebag is correct, the LEDs I am using have a diode and a resister to work with 12volts. The straight LEDs I soldered into the heater and door switches are using the circuitry for the same result.

On a side note, there is still a voltage spike I need to handle because the LEDs are still only lasting a few months. When starting the truck, with the lights on, they all flicker so I assume this is the cause. This could also be a quality control issue as well but I need to rule out the flickering first.

Have you thought about building circuit right after dimmer to lower the voltage that will be acceptable for leds and also protects them from voltage spikes? Basically converting the whole circuit to lower voltage.

What about a mixed set?

I'd like to do red for the map light and doors (so it doesn't kill night vision) and warm white for the other two overhead panels.

Do you also sell those CREE 400 lumen reverse bulbs?
