Thanks. Appreciate the help all!

I am looking at a parts rig, it is a 74 and he says it is a 2F, but this doesn't look like a 2F to my very uneducated eyes. It doesn't have the big bump hood, older style smaller front turn signals, etc. If it had the 2f/4speed/disc brake front axle, I would be interested. If not....it is a very rusty beast....

Thanks all for your patience with my newbie (kinda) questions :)

That looks like a 1F valve cover/air cleaner...

Agreed, he is just pretty adamant that it is a 2f that Redline rebuilt to the tune of $5k a few years ago. But can't find the receipts and called Redline but they moved to a new system in 2017 so they don't have records either. It is super cheap and runs, but super rusty, would only be a parts rig.
That does not look like it was rebuilt "a few years ago."
The carb looks like it was rebuilt.

So the decision is unfortunately to sell these project piggies. I picked up a crazy good deal on a rust free 40 in addition to my other 40 and I just don't want these solid piggies to keep wasting away. I'll start a sale thread soon... Have titles and everything. I am grabbing the factory steelies for my 40 😁
