Decent Replacement for Now-Banned Wedco Jerry Cans?

Anyone run diesel in these cans from Rover Parts or DO? I'm looking for a pair of cans to hold fuel for my new JD tractor. I've seen some threads state that the lining for diesel and petrol cans is different and that using one fuel in the opposite labeled can could lead to problems with deterioration of the lining.

I may end up going with the CARB Wedco Cans.

I am not in Kalifornia but I use Tuffjugs.com for both gasoline and diesel. As far as I know the "diesel" yellow cans say Diesel on them and that's the only difference. I have a few cans that have 2yr old diesel in them and show no issues. (I actually had a 4x4Labs rack made to hold them for offroading.)

I bought a bunch of white ones at a motorcycle store when they were on sale, maybe $20ea? VP offers the same square jugs now with a fancy breather/vent valve...

I've use my Deutsche Optik NATO style can on a couple of trips not including the FJ Summit in Ouray. I carry one mounted in an AT jerry can holder and there was absolutely zero leakage through the seal during the entire trip. I am happy with that.

I was turned onto the Super Siphon during a Bill Burke trip. I sometimes don't even take my Scepter spout along on trips because the SS kicks butt . . . and because I don't have a spout for my NATO cans. The SS will dump five gallons in 1 1/2-2 minutes.

Before the ban I got 8 Wedco Jerry Cans in red and 4 spouts. For my diesel tractor I got the yellow version of the VP racing 5 gallon cans. These will not work in a bumper mount nor roof rack application near as nice as the Wedco units but they work just as good as the pre-ban cans. For gasoline I would get the clear one so it's easier to see the level though you can see it in the yellow so probably can with the other colors.
