Johnny, make whoever is your passanger a believer in the e-locker like you did to me!!!

and, keep the rubber side down!

 Will do buddy. Have fun in Tampa!

Yes, the invitation is extended to both nights. I'll try and roll out on Friday and meet up with Adam and whoever else will be out there. Going to set up camp, and then try and hit a trail. But if could be Friday night for me also, depending on how much I get done in the next few days..

Cool, thanks man.

Johnny, you got the place all weekend! We hope everyone will stay at the barn, but those that want or need to stay at group camp, please check it out before setting up camp. There are spots to camp that only an LC can get to! :) Hope everyone is as excited about this weekend as I am!

I cannot articulate how excited I am:bounce: Thank you for hosting us!

looking forward, We plan on leaving FV fri around 4:30-5 pm.

Cool, ill aim for then as well.

Kenny, many thanks for this very generous offer!

I intend to leave around 11am Friday: I plan to do at least one hike/long walk Friday, might run a trail or 2, then head over to camp around dinner. Oysters would be awesome - I've never met a shellfish I don't like.

Darn. Mary and I will not be able to attend this last run. Hope you guys have a blast.

Update for me....I am leaving Friday by 10 so I should be there no later than 1130. The wife and kiddos will be rolling down Saturday AM with the RV. We'll be at Kenny's. I'll have an open seat for Friday riding if anyone needs it.

Do we have an idea what the schedule will be like for any Friday riding?

Not knowing when everyone is arriving, we hadn't planned anything. May want to get in touch with Brock with Swampfox and see what they might have planned.

Joe, you are very welcome! There is a hiking trail on the ridge behind the barn and also an off-road bike trail about a half mile north of the driveway. I'm not into cardio so I haven't used either. At the BP on Hwy 24-27, if you head east towards Troy, about a half mile up the mountain is a Uwharrie Trail parking lot at the trailhead. Actually, the barn property borders the UF on 2 sides. FYI

pots and burners...

Can yall bring some burners and or steam pots?

I will grab some oysters (probally half bushel, unless a bunch of people want em. Only seen a few peeps interested) I will grab some shimp too. I will bring cocktail sauce, butter, old bay, maybe some hotsauce. :grinpimp:

Adam, Lydia and I are very interested in shrimp & oysters!! We have a 5 burner gas cooktop and a small gas stove w/oven for everyone to use. No steam pots. Also, grill for deer!! We like to eat!

Adam, I am down for some shellfish, I can't get enough! My Coleman stove probably wont be big enough though.

Jon if u can bring your steam thing that would be great

I will bring plenty of deer meat. I already made some deer chili.

Is any one bringing some "apple pie?"

I'll bring my pot and burner for either shrimp or oysters... I'm thinking a bunch of brats and chorizo is my contribution ....

I'll bring my pot

:smokin:

Is this plan for Saturday night? I'm not (can you believe this) an oyster guy. Love the scrimp. I'm probably only in for Sat night - still up in the air right now.

Adam, I'll chip in on the cost for the swimmin' critters - since I'm solo I really don't feel like cooking. Happy to man a grill if need be.

 R

sat dinner...

I'm glad to share. I will do scrimps and oysters on sat night. I also have some deer chili to share. I will have some deer meat and sausage for fri and sat. May just grab a steak for dinner on fri.

Does anybody have any oysters knifes? I have a few.

hey guys, i'm really going to try to make this one. I'm about 95% sure i'm coming. My sister/sisters might come and if so we won't camp, just hang and trail ride.
