Hey sorry the girlfriend sais i have to be back in town by 3. So guess my next run will have to be maintenance run, but hopefully snorkel and rear tire carrier will be done LOL fingers crossed. Have fun guys

Not sure how successful we will be, Sylvester would have been much better if it had snowed in the last week but it has not. Thirston has a lot of steep climbs that I'm sure with re frozen snow will be slicker than snot. I'll update you all when we get back.
Good luck on the snorkel and tire carrier, should finish it off nicely.
Be careful. Once you are committed there are not many places to turn around and can be slicker than snot on a banana peel. Hope you guys have chains or good winter tires. Put the chains on before you hit snow. You don't want to slip off here.

Yeah we where not planing on taking that trail up just the loging road. It's wasa good day, about 6" of fresh snow on top of refrozen snow....slicker than pigs s***. Had a lot of fun, truck has quite a few new beauty marks from frozen alders. Gavin had a scary 75-80ft backwards slide after stopping behind another truck that spun out ahead. Once he got stopped on a cross ditch he was not able to get moving again, compacted snow/ice. I was able to direct him to the side an push his rear tires onto some traction.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Also of note, 35's and 6000lbs truck do not do good in fresh deep snow. I was able to break trail for about 500M but the alders that where under the snow caused me to break through and get stuck right to my frame. I was running 8psi on my Duratrac's it would not float on the snow that was out there. On the packed snow and ice the tires were fantastic tho.
MT/R (1st gen) suck in compacts snow and ice. They seemed to do ok on the deeper stuff. Gav went down to 10psi and seemed to do ok after that.
On our way home a friend on mine in Chilliwack has some 39.5/14.5 15's so we rolled one up beside Gavins 60 to see how it looked. I was surprised to see that it looked like they would fit with minimal trimming.

I have also found a used one in the US for about $500 just waiting on pictures......and that money tree to start blooming.

Yeah I did and had a few replies, I ended up getting mine rebuilt and working again with a bit of JB weld and some silicone. Took about 4 hours total and about $15 of materials.

Its my Brothers, we have been fixing and building it for over a year now.
