In post 3 of this thread there are several pdf files with good information about the combination meter function and connections. Your problem could be a loose connection, so you might want to look at the CM connection pdf. It’s a safe guess the odometer miles are stored in the combination meter.

I am working on trying to add MTS/Turn-Assist (OTA) to my 2010 LX. I've swapped the skid-control ECU/master cylinder, switch panel, and combination meter (gauge). No error codes/DTC, zero-point calibration all done. I had to repin the skid-control ECU, and run 2 new wires to the switch panel.

I now how 5 speed crawl. When I'm in 4LO and hit crawl, the menu appears, and I can scroll through it. I can do...

The water usually gets in the door sills from clogged sunroof drains or leaking windshields, not deep water. If it was mine, I would pull those connectors to check for corrosion just to make sure all is good.

So I sent it away to get this instrument cluster lcd repaired no luck. Ordered a new part from Toyota.
 
Hi just update install new instrument cluster. Everything works engine starts . Now the issue is how do I correct odometer reading Toyota wants $1300 to send it away to correct the reading. Unable to find any obd odometer correction tool. Some say only way it can be done is removing the chip from the old cluster to install into the new cluster. Any suggestions. Please share .
