Today's project was hardwiring my dash cam. I've got an older ROAV unit that I may upgrade soon. Fortunately (unfortunately) the previous owner had bluetooth speaker mounted in the sunglasses holder. They had already tapped 12v switched power off of the sunroof controls. I tried to get some photos of the wiring harness. I used a 12v to 5v USB module to tie in. It works great. No long cable hanging down to my dash any more.
