2f cylinder heads?

but if I have a 1f engine wouldn't the ancient head be ok

Is this an engine in an FJ60 ?

Is there an F or 2F in front of that block serial #? If it's from the a 2F indicates a '77-78 2F and would not be what was stock in the FJ60. The head is early, and would not have the proper oiling for a 2F.

You need to post more pix so we can see what you've got. Also, might be better to start a fresh thread....

thanks spike. no 2f on engine block just F 232080. its deffently an early model

I need help identifying compatibility with my block and head. my block vin is 232080 and I have attached some pictures of the head. I'm trying to change the head gasket but can't figure out what gasket to get and if the head I'm using will work. I think the block is an early model f engine I'm not sure about the head I think maybe that's my problem. The head numbers are 11111 60020 and below is 32
