Cygnus White on my hard top??? beige color????

EXACTLY what happend to me......got to the body shop to see the metal rain gutter (painted off the top and both sides) cygnus "white" and was NOT HAPPY.......they scuffed and they are shottong everything the new toyota bright white. I think the white white will look better than the beige tint of cygnus with my bright yellow body.

My 82 cruiser was white body, bezel, top from the factory. They were all the same white and it also matched the color of the wheels. I had it painted with T012 and it as definitely darker than original color. According to the color chart I linked above T012 cygnus white ended in 75. 031 is the newer whiter color.

My ‘80 is original paint, white, code 031, and it is creamy beige white. It is faded so the touch up paint I had mixed is definitely more rich and deeper in color. My top is also original paint and it is a lighter shade of white. Of course, somewhat sun faded too but definitely a different and lighter shade of white than the 031 body color.
