Someone needs to add windows etc to one of these:

For ~$300, you could get a pretty nice tent cot, a 'good enough for car camping' sleeping bag, and at least one case of beer, and it would already have doors/windows.

I like that it has some space as opposed to a tentCot. I like that it has a solid floor - no worry about rocks or water. I like the way it folds in one motion.
It could be mounted RTT style or plan on pulling it down to the ground.

I do realize it is not intended to have ingress/egress but they could probably add to what they have to make it a suitable camping tent without a lot of drama.... I think I'll reach out to them....

Totally reasonable! It also looks like the fancy tent cots I was thinking of are running north of $200-250 now, too. Definitely worth checking this out.
