I’m developing a custom 60-series grille inspired by 2025 70-series and 300-series geometry. Its intended to look modern as the recipient trucks are getting a 2UZ powerplant.

Two configurations:

• V1: built around the 2025 70-series LED Toyota emblem with integrated running-light and turn-signal bars.

• V2: accepts a standard OEM Toyota emblem. No logo is designed into the grille; it only provides the mount.

Prototype printing is next. Material options under evaluation: nylon, carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer, or aluminum billet. Grille attaches with OEM clips, or with custom metal clips if aluminum.

I dont own a 60 series personally but I'm glad you went with the spelled out toyota instead of the logo. I like V1 because it gives the option for the two mini light bars for the spots.
I'd make it so it's compatible with Baja designs S8 series because you'd get the S8 light output with DRL back light that you could in turn hook up to the turn signals.

On the same page as light bars I know a lot of guys would love to put a light bar behind the grill so it's more hidden.
Maybe add a mount location towards the bottom of the grill so it's always an option if they want to but they dont have a massive cut out if they dont want one

V2 would be my preference. I don’t want any more lights on the front of my wagon. IMHO that look is too modern for a 60 series. It would look like a newer Bronco.

Billet seems excessive for this application. It attaches with relatively fragile clips that would have free play to some degree. Lighter would be better if vibration/rattling was a concern.

Obviously depending on material; would these be painted or raw?

Thank you for the R&D thus far

Pretty cool. I like v2. Got a 3D printer for Christmas and I’m trying to see what I can print for my 60.

UPDATE: 10 sections, 12 hours per piece. 120 printing hours. Confirming fitment tomorrow.
(Gray OEM Toyota grille used for reference).

V2 is nice and classic.
Would be nice to have some headlight doors.
I'd like to paint the surrounding trims Toyota metallic gray mica.

Not sure what you mean by "Would be nice to have some headlight doors."

Decided to go in a different direction to keep it closer to the original look but incorporate the LED TOYOTA and light bars.

I missed this comment on the thread earlier, but headlight doors are those plastic pieces that surround the headlights. I don’t know why they’re called doors, but that’s what I’ve seen.

They’re called bezels. They are available aftermarket.

What modeling software is that? Nice work!

Peel 3 scanner for mesh. Fusion360 for CAD design. Silly amount of hours on the CAD.

120 hours to print not including foul ups.

Thanks! Im considering purchasing a cad program. Fusion is on the list.

Are you considering producing these to sell, or just show and tell?

✊

Looking to produce but costs will likely be a deal breaker for most.

Fusion360 is free and more than sufficient.
