Wish I had a photo, but seeing the young girl doing the repairs reminded me of an incident. Many years ago (10 plus) I was going up into the mountains south of Flagstaff for a camping trip. Water pump seized up about 10 miles outside of the camping site. Had it towed in. My adopted daughter volunteered to swap it out then and there. I let her, since she was a mechanic at Desert Toyota. Ain't life grand? I have a memory of her diving into the engine while wearing her middle ages outfit at a Society for Creative Anachronism event.
She gave up the wrenching gig. I will be attending her graduation from the U of A in December. She is going to be a music teacher. Never know what people can do, eh?
