Where to start…

Well the latest confusing thing my 2000 Land Crusier with 24x,xxx miles does is…

When cruise control is set and holding at any speed, and I then use my LEFT (only left, NOT right) signal indicator to say, switch lanes, it immediately deactivates the cruise control setting speed. Identically to hitting the brakes, yet I’m not touching the brake pedal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To this point, I just learned it’s quirks and said I’d rather just piss off the random other highway drivers from a lack of using my signal, than to keep on and off with the cruise control, haha.

You may have a bulb out somewhere. Brake or turn signal or LED flasher issues. Strange as it sounds, it's an easy thing to check.

I checked and the bulbs are all working. I have the factory wiring harness for the factory LED 2007 LC tail lights and none of those bulbs are out either. Thanks for the idea though. It is so weird…

Sounds like something in the clock spring or wiring in the steering column.
