I created a tool for fellow Cruiser owners to make finding parts faster and cheaper.

Enter a Toyota Part Number and you will see live prices from major suppliers from all over the world in seconds.

If you sign up for a free account, you'll automatically get enrolled in the free trial that features a shipping cost feature. No CC upfront.

In the future, I'm hoping to add more suppliers so its easy to compare parts from all over, including our favorite cruiser community vendors and their kits.
Also add support for Lexus suppliers as well.

I hope you save some time, and some money! Please let me know your thoughts on the project and what you'd like to see.

This is amazing!! Thank you so much!!!

Use this all the time. Great website. Thanks for contributing back to the community!

I’ve been using cruisin4parts.com for over a year. Best investment I’ve made outside of buying another Cruiser.

The custom parts list has been a game changer. Keeping parts in order for 4 Land Cruisers is a full-time job. This feature helps immense.

You may consider supporting cruisin4parts.com with a membership. Clayton is putting in man hours to design a great site and paying for server hosting. It ain’t cheap and it’s not a charity. Knowing your shipping can be a big unlock in deciding to order overseas and just going through the local stealership.

No affiliation just a satisfied user.

Thanks for the shoutout, jclark! Couldn't say it better myself!

Hi everyone, I want to share what I've been up to lately.

I recently added pre-built pages for certain Land Cruiser years that show a quick overview of prices for everyone.

I did a first pass at the most commonly searched for parts and matched them up to what the catalog has for that year. Now I'm going over them manually to sanity check them.

Here is the Land Cruiser page, with data from the 60-Series to the early 200 Series: Toyota Land Cruiser OEM Parts — Best Prices | Cruisin4Parts.com - https://cruisin4parts.com/parts/toyota/land-cruiser

I've been dialing in the 100 series one, like for my 2006: https://cruisin4parts.com/parts/toyota/land-cruiser/100-series/2006. I think I could do a better job of the ordering of those parts. Such as Head gasket doesn't need to be first for the 100, but maybe for the 80!

This will help most people when they're just trying to find the matching part for "2006 land cruiser radiator". Although, the 06 has multiple matching radiators and I'll need to call out the differences (standard, mexico spec, etc).

Upcoming changes:
I'm also improving my search that can handle searches like "2006 land cruiser radiator" to make it easier for more people who don't know their part numbers.
Improving the PartList feature to make them more user friendly and shareable. Here's an example: 06 100 Series Windshield Replacement Parts

Anyway, I just wanted to share an update, lots of stuff going on behind the scenes! If you have an idea for a feature or have feedback, please share below. Thanks, all!

A suggestion:

For your 100 series radiator example, you bring in all of the part numbers vs. just the part numbers that are actually available. 16400-50211, 16400-50212 are not available parts. They supersede to 16400-50360. The fact that you have part numbers with prices for parts that are either no longer available or have been superseded to another part number could be very confusing for folks who don't know how to navigate Toyota part numbering system.

Another one I randomly put in: "1993 FZJ80 Head gasket kit". This yielded all wrong part numbers: 04111 are engine overhaul kits and not head gasket kits with 04112 prefix numbers. Also, the correct part number: 04112-66036 didn't even come up as the correct part number for the query.

Anyway, just some feedback. I personally don't use your system since I kinda have this kind of thing figured out already, but might be useful for you for others that do use your system.

@OGBeno This is great info, especially coming from you. It's a really good point about showing all of the part numbers and the supersessions. In my head, I wanted to show ALL parts that match the query for a radiator to show that I have a comprehensive list of matching parts. But the job for my customers is to buy the best priced radiator in stock, so the other stuff is chaff.

For the headgasket, this is an example of using the wrong prefixes to match the parts. For something as common as the head gasket and its kit, I need to get it right. I'lll look these over and get it cleaned up.

Seriously, thank you for taking the time to write this out.

My pleasure. The more resources available to LC owners the better. This is a great starting point, IMO, from a parts professional POV who has been doing Toyota numbering system now 19 years.

also: happy to assist you in honing this from the Toyota numbering system POV if you want. Drop a line.

🤘🤘
