Hey guys!

It’s that time of year again — Cruisers on the Rockies III (Crockies III) is happening July 27–31, 2026 in beautiful Silverton, Colorado!

Base camp will be at the awesome Kendall Mountain Recreation Area, with its big lodge, huge wraparound deck, and plenty of camping space right at the foot of the mountain. It’s the perfect spot for a true off-road adventure with a great group of people.

This event is exclusively for Land Cruiser 100, 200, and 300 Series owners (and Lexus LX fans). No Prados, no 80s, no 40s, and definitely no Jeeps. Just like it's sister event Cruisers on the Rocks in Tennessee, Crockies has grown into one of the largest platform-specific gatherings in the world for these full-size HD IFS Cruisers and their LX cousins. There’s something really special about the camaraderie you get at these smaller, focused events — and this one is shaping up to be the best yet!

Spots are limited to just 100 trucks, so mark your calendar and don’t miss registration!

What’s on the agenda?

Hit the Trails
Each morning you’ll have a great selection of epic trail runs through the stunning San Juan mountains. A solid crew of independent volunteers organized by the FAFO Cruiser Club will be guiding the runs, and you’ll pick up some solid Tread Lightly knowledge and trail etiquette along the way.

Evening Fun at Camp
When the rigs are parked and the dust settles, there’s plenty more to enjoy:

  • Welcome Party & Cookout on the big deck
  • Crockies Swap Meet (perfect for hunting those hard-to-find parts)
  • Dissent Off-Road Cornhole Tournament
  • Driver Raffle with some sweet prizes
  • Potluck Dinner night
  • Whiskey on the Rocks Whiskey Night by Gamiviti – for those who want a little extra after a day on the trails
  • BBQ Dinner Thursday night
Meals
We’ve got the basics covered:
  • Hot breakfast every morning (bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, coffee & juice)
  • Dinner served every evening except Tuesday with cold beer and soft drinks (Thursday’s dinner will be a special BBQ!)
  • Tuesday night is town night — head into Silverton for local restaurants or grab groceries for campfire cooking
Most runs will require a packed lunch, but a few trails will drop us near Telluride, Ouray, or Lake City if you want to grab a bite out.

Was missing LCDC and seeing folks last year bad so really would like to get registered for this one--gonna be on the road all day on the 4th so seeing what time registration will go live so I know when to pull over?
Yeah man! Registration opens at 12 noon MDT Saturday April 4 :steer:

I know that probably 95% of 300 LXOT owners are also in this section of the forum (either they still have a 200 or traded in for a 300), but, as a suggestion, maybe also plug a sister thread in the 300 forum? Would love to attend and will plan hard this year to do so. 👍

Definitely. I meant to do that yesterday and got sidetracked. There is one in 100 tech 👍

At the moment my plan is to be at CM in April and in AZ/UT/CO the last two weeks of June, so unfortunately I will below on vacation and will probably miss it this year. If something changes I’ll come begging for a late registration slot, but it seems unlikely and I don’t want to block someone else who actually can make it from getting in

SQOD..
Can a newbie to off-roading join?
And two…do I need sliders…

Hope you can make it. There's always some late cancellations so definitely let me know if things change! Hopefully I'll see you at CM, I'll be running with @nakman before the event and breaking in my new transmission

Anything left for those us not in early registration?
Yes! I put a cap of 100 spots on the COTR events to keep that good intimate vibe, but right from the start I decided to guarantee at least 25 spots for new drivers.

I knew we might end up going a bit over the cap, but honestly... it’s totally worth it.

So right now we’ve got 81 spots already claimed, which means when registration opens on Saturday there will be 25 spots ready for you new folks to grab!

We’ll be a little over the cap, but hey — that just means the party’s gonna be even bigger 🎉

See you there!

P.S.- I highly recommend being ready when registration opens at noon MDT Saturday. I'm not sure how long those 25 spots will last :steer:
