How many friggin cruisers does one man need....

Latest one is kinda coooool, NV45 and V8.... 1974?

Part of garage find, '74 FJ40 350/NV4500/3 spd case. All done with AA parts and installed professionally. I still haven't had time to start it
and don't anticipate any problems with that. I've been helping a friend do a LH conversion of a BJ74, and it's coming along very well, but has caused my delays in getting this thing. It is a complete truck, and I also got Bestop soft top, bikini top, best top soft doors. I'm hoping to have plates on it soon, and drive it for a while to make sure it's all good. I'll try to post some pics on the next sunny day after I plate it.

Well, filled the tank with a couple of gallons of gas. Poured some down the carb, and it wants to run. I think
the 2' geyser of gas out of the top of the fuel pump is a problem...
So it looks good sitting there, but I got other things, like a winch that I miss-measured, to fit the rear of the 60.
waiting for paint to dry..

But since Rob started this, he is putting the finishing touches on the BJ74 LH drive conversion going on
at Fred's place. I suspect today is D-day, they should get it running. Gonna be a sweet truck.
Put a '85 BJ70 cowl, etc and all engine/wiring into a BJ74. I'll run in after my winch is installed with bolts,
not wishes.

This thread is useless without pictures, not a bad looking lil fj40..:steer:

Good frame, body needs some luvin...What is this piece of sheet metal for?

I think it might be the cover that goes over the fuel inlet just behind the pass seat.
Winner... Protects lines, goes from piece that covers vapor recovery dohickey to floor. Most of it is cut away.

There's a pick of an installed one in my build thread below.

Having carb troubles, going with a rebuilt. It's a Rochester Q-jet. Seems to leak through the throttle shaft??!, I took the top off and
gave it a clean up, but still not getting fuel to the primaries. I don't have time to mess with it, so I'll spend now, then learn how the old 'one works
and sell one off.
