Went wheeling this last weekend and if ever I wondered about Super Swampers in the mud, LTBs to be exact, it was erased forever. These tires on my FJ40 walked the truck up trails that my locked 80 with Pro Comp mud terrains flat out couldn't even attempt! Here's a few pics of a trail we started at 10am and ended at 1:45am.

awesome, keep em' coming

looks like fun. we going to see a write up? I am planning on getting a set of 34x10.50 on beadlocks and switch them back and forth between rigs

what size tire an what rims are those?? are they 17x7 m/t beadlocks ?

They are 34" Interco LTB tires, on 17" Raceline Monster 232 beadlocks. Lift is OME. I am still simply in awe of how that truck walked up stuff. One river crossing, there was a bare root with mud around it--you know, the type that ALWAYS makes a tire spin on it. My locked f/r 1995 FZJ80 got a tire over the root, tried to bite mud, failed, spun on the root. The 40 went up and over in one try as it bit down on the mud. Loved it!

On a side note we had a truck with Maxxis Creepy Crawlers and only limited slips f/r out there and the Creepys did extremely well, too.

Sweet! I'll have to think about those. I have always like the Creepy Crawlers, but they are expensive and they have a bit more limited size selection. This may be another option for me.

Do you have to use spacers on those 17" rims?

Hi Longhunter,

We did not use spacers, they were a perfect fit from the get-go. It was one major reason we chose them; Raceline makes these with the correct Toyota backspace and offset to begin with. Love that!
