T-minus 24hrs before I leave! White 60 with obmoxious red bumpers and a s***load of dents. I should pack...on thebplus side I am only an hoir from home round trip if I forgot something

Anyone leading the "easy" trail run for Saturday? Looking through my California Backroads book, looks like Gold Valley trail might be good... Happy to help with organizing the easy run.

Sorry @Fast Eddy and @SIZZLE , no watching me wreck my s*** this year lol

Weather is looking sweeeet.

ill be up there at about 8 tonight

An hour to gold lake, maybe 20 min of "off road" to the campsite

Also, we are carding anyone who appears underage that will be partaking from the keg!!! Finny, Darrell and myself do not want to be liable for underage consumption on this event
That's a very good idea....But won't that exclude Darrell???

Just cause you ain't doing the Snake lake loop doesn't necessarily mean you won't wreck your s*** this year! :)

Is that the trail from Gold lake past the buttes then down to Sierra City? That's a fun drive and then we could resupply ice while we are in town.

Here's a few maps that folks can print out. Gold Valley trail starts up in Johnsville and goes out to 49. You can ignore my pink/yellow highlighting, but it does kinda follow the Gold Valley trail for most of the way

And tighter crop on the Lakes Basin area

My son and i are out the door, see you guys up there. Bring some ice and plenty of drinking water before you head inland, will be there around 2 p.m driving black 4runner with american flag out the window. Have a safe trip to all you guys.

It blows to be leaving at 4 am on Saturday... i should be there right around 6, which is early enough to setup camp, eat breakfast and go on the Snake Lake trail. But oh well.

Just broke something on my other vehicle. Transmission related. We're still going but probably won't take my rig on the trails. Can't risk breaking something and not having a vehicle to drive to work.

I should have made a few maps with the official layers in my gis system. Oh well, nextyear. 5 hours to my weekend! Already over work....
