Am definitely going, along with Greg Bowie, Eric Webster and the regular mob of Moab addicts ...:hillbilly:

signing up now. Any recommendations if I should try / avoid any of the class 7 trails with my fj? My group is signing up for basically all the class 6 ones. Last year similar types to 6 seemed pretty tame to me, but I might have trouble with the 33s?

People do Spike with 33's and its a 7, you will drag your rear corners. 7s will push your comfort limit

okay signed up for porcupine, metalmasher and cliffhanger. Might have 35s on by then not sure but in any case i can tackle the harder trails next year. I recommend camping at riverside campground rather than slickrock if you're camping but I guess you guys already know that.

Glenn do you do the pre Cruise Moab trip every year? Robin and I are starting to plan for 2014 we would be interested in some of the longer trails (white rim and a few others I do not know the names of). I should probably start a different thread about 2014....sorry for the clutter.

Yes - I enjoy the pre-CM runs more than Cruise Moab itself, apart from the social, rig drooling and tire kicking part. You can do Canyonlands trails (White Rim is a must) as day trips but overnighters you need permits and you must book well in advance. The Maze is the most remote and least visted part of Canyonlands, - I booked 6 nites last Sept 2012 for this April 2013.
Lots of trails in the San Rafael Swell outside of the park and others.
Find a good one and I will join you.

So that is your secret to getting your kids down there. :smokin:.

Soon you can load up in Washington State, I am hoping it will be available at Wal-Mart, when I get my Delo.:flipoff2:

Looking forward to Moab again this year. Pete, I have not signed up, and will be tagging along with Glenn again this year (Thanks Glenn!). I have to be back to work on May 5th (unless I can magically get that time off, which I doubt) so that means a departure of around May 2nd for me head back home. I have made no plans on where I will be staying after the pre-runs are done...same as last year...just wing'n it.

I feel like I'm back form the dead almost, Work has been crazy busy. Like always I'm heading down... I didn't sign up for CM this year but will be doing my own thing.

Dad flies in on April 22nd and we will most likely start heading down on the 24th. Guess it's time to find out what everyone is doing for the Pre-Moab trip.

Looks like I'm going to have to recall my last statement, Just had a bunch of things dropped on me that I need to do at work and home over the same 3 weeks:frown:

Hope everyone has a great time and wish I could be there with you.

Glenn let me know if you wont me to send you the GPS track for the Kokopelli Trail

73,
Drew

I'll just wait for you to recall your recall and tell us what day you're coming to join us
