On to the First Nations Summer Camp that we got banned from traveling through the first time I was on this trail, then on through the swampy section of the trail.

More swamp and on to the water hole.

Finishing the water, then into the cut block, and out again.

Then onto the junction where we decided to head to mud lakes for lunch before we continue on to poison. But then we hit the wall of snow. Decide not to rip around it in the precious meadow like some idiots might have done and decide to have lunch at the creek then try to make over to China Head.

Keepin Keepin on as we now let Adam ahead and follow him up the hill side as the drifts get deep and continuous

Getting to the real deep stuff where we have to break out shovel and winchs. Adam backs up after getting free and then tries ramming again.

This shoveling was hard work, starting to sweat, hands were getting cold though and feet were getting wet. We soon found after adam got buried a few times and the winch issues we were encountering, plus the daylight running out, that we should probably abort this mission and make another plan.

X2

The pictures are great! I had no idea this trail was that swampy in sections. The snow on the hill side of the valley trails must have been interesting after getting tuned around on poison.

Oh yeah, you just wait for more of Adams pictures, there are some pretty knarly off camber/shoveling shots!

As promised, here are the shoveling pics. We got a good sleep after some good late into the night drinking and came up with plan C. We would shovel and try to creep along the edge of the drifts and go out through the mud lakes. And shovel we did!:hillbilly:

So then the bronco tries, only to get sliding toward the edge, re-shovel, and then free past the first drift!

Then I go, but with my narrower stance, slide off the edge as well, so re-dig, and re-try again good to go.

Sorry guys been working too much lately no time for posting. And yes Rob we rarely walk away from a trail if we think there is a slight chance of making it :hillbilly: Next snow drift and more shovelling.
