cross member

I'm installing a NP435 to a TLC 3 speed t-case behind a 5.0HO in my 71 40. I would like to utilze the cross member mount on the bottom of AA's adapter. Will a mini truck (4x4 of course) cross member fit? Don't mind modification just wondering about the width.

if you're already willing to modify it, yes it will fit

of course that depends on what you call modify, wobble out a few bolt holes or pretty much cut it up and start from canned scratch.
