And a daily CottonLand Cruiser wanna'be

It's not open yet but will be soon. Stay tuned.

I am a newbie to the board and to cruisers. I got handed down my wife's daily driver this year. It is a 98 completely stock except for the DVD player. Wife's family has a place in hot springs and I found out about superlift and had it out there last week ( I am hooked). A guy named B.J. who works there mentioned your event and I am interested in coming. So I hope I can ask some questions.

I am in memphis and have not found a cruiser club there. Do yall know of one or do memphis people join Cotton Land Cruisers?

Do any of your members run 100 or mostly old FJs? I need some advice as what to do to my cruiser.
I have tons of questions like tires and bumpers and maybe adding a GPS.
I lived in Jackson for awhile in high school (went to Lash's school) then went to DSU (go okra) and moved around until settling in memphis for work (FEDEX). Parents live in Castlewoods so I am in Jackson a lot. Hope to meet you guys sometimes.

In our group we have all sorts of rigs. from 40s ,60s, 80s and even 100 s and 200s. There are some cottonlanders in the memphis area and i am sure they will chime in shortly.

Come on guys say hello!

To get you unstock. We suggest checking out Iron pig offroad, Metal Tech, slee offroad for starters

For tires check out 49 tire in Florence. cottonlanders recieve special attention ;)

You can gain a ton of information about your 100 by reading up in the 100 series section on Ih8mudcom

One of the best things to do is come to our meetings which are held at cherokee sports bar the 1st tuesday of every month at 6pm.

But the most fun thing to do is to attend the Southern Cruiser Crawl october 8-11 at Superlift Offroad park (orvpark.com) in Hot Springs, Arkansas!
Live band, great food, oh and of course mild to wild wheeling and a world class park!

:bounce:

Welcome, you can be our token 100 owner! Since it's Memphis, we're more of a gang, than a club:grinpimp:

We had four trucks from Memphis in Hot Springs last weekend, we must have just missed each other...

PM me your contact info and I'll keep you up to date on local goings on.

I was at superlift on monday. BJ said I just missed some memphis owners. I am new and know nothing and would love to get some 100 owners to give me some good info on what I need to do to my rig.

Hot Springs is a fun town. You guys are going to have a great trip in october. If anybody needs any info on the area let me know. I spend most of my summers there at Lake Hamilton.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
