Just thought I'd post a recent use thought: I didn't have to use the plate to remove the bolt, the starter did that, but the plate did the trick on the installation. No futzing around on the back of the engine! I would suggest adding a couple of thousandths to the clearance of both square holes. My breaker bars just fit, and they are ±0.00

Good tool though!

Noted, I have ±.06 tolerances on them, and test fit them with CrapOn (I kid, I kid) tools after cutting.

Currently in the process of prototyping my own front bumper "weld it yourself" style kit. Will post pictures once I have it close/tack welded, if I remotely like it...if I hate it...this post didn't exist. 🥸

If you make something that will hold a Warn M12K & is thicker than a ARB, you’ll have a winner.

I’d have bought the Slee Shortbus but it’s no-bueno on a W12K.
Full stop / no buy because of that in the muddy states.
I need near 3/8”+ structure & prefer 1/4” / 3/16” minimum skin.

Just something to think on as a ARB owner who hates the tinfoil - thick they build their stuff as.
(It’s a kangaroo bar impact & keep the radiator whole, all it was meant as - so I get it)

—— My worthless penny / $.02 before inflation

My center structure is currently 1/4" and the "wings" are 10ga (.135), I have a (cough cough) rough country 9500S winch on currently

To anyone who orders these (FZJ Crank Pulley Holders) today I'll get them out tonight after shop hours 👌🏼 Sorry for the delay on the direct messages this past week.

Thanks @FMC80. I was able to borrow one from a forum member. It worked very well. I may still purchase i e in the future to have in the tool box. It’s absolutely the tool for the job.

If you're on the fence about getting a crank pulley holder, just do it.

I'm an electronics technician by trade and maybe a :banana: on a good day and this tool made it pretty much idiot proof. I could tell my dad thought it was silly to buy such a specific tool for the job but he was thankful we had it when were both pulling on the 3/4" torque wrench. 1/2" Milwaukee impact with a high output battery zipped the crank bolt right out.

Shipping from @CPACruiser was fast and had it in like 3 days. 10/10 will buy from him again.
