Got a little crack during the San Juan trip and it has progressed into a full windshield crack...straight through my line of sight.

Anyone have any confidence in any windshield replacement companies in town. The LC has a fancy-smansy windshield setup with non-releasable channels, rivets, etc.

Thanks.

When I was at Colorado Springs Dodge we contracted with Premium Auto Glass. They did good work and were on more than one occasion able to pull a good windshield without cracking it!

Thanks. Sent them a quote request.

Let me know how it goes - mine has recently cracked, though not badly, as well as bad sand blasting/pitting. Want to do something about it soon - hoping it may also cure the leek I have at the top of the A pillar.

Don't use the place on Filmore and I-25. Had 5 work vans replaced last sept and 4 of them have heavily cracked glass. I think it was Auto Glass Now. They were half as much as everyone else but now we know why.

Hope you find a good place to do it. I have had 5 replaced between all the vehicles and haven't had one yet I would recommend without reservations. Post up who you decide on, I'd be willing to drive over if they do a good job.

We have used carefree auto glass a few times. He comes to the house.

Anybody have experience with Windshields Express? I am thinking of using them. Have two cracked windshields right now that need fixing.
I used windshield express for my 60 did a great job I think Justin was the one who suggested them and I'll probably use the again if I ever need it.

Saw you got it replaced Travis, how did it go?

I used Safelite. I was in a hurry and they got me in ASAP. There have been a lot of guys in the 100 section that have had good luck with them so I gave them a shot. About $300 IFRC and they took about 2.25 hours to do it (watched them through the windows :-)). Two guys working on it for most of that time. When I talked with them, they had experience with the 100 series and knew what they were talking about.

Got back this weekend after a 2000+ mile trip with lots of weather and there was no wind noise, no leaking, no issues to be seen. So far, I'm pretty happy with the install.
