borrow a trailer and haul lorena big butt up here. we can swap that sucker out in no time.

All right Saturday November 20, 2010 at my house.

I'm bringing something big for a member. If I have room, then I may bring the axle. It's going under the knife:
- remove broken bolt from the shock mount
- pull third and install Aussie
- raise the shock mounting points (use plasma and welder)

Ready to help others as well! Can't wait to see some folks!

What time do yall want to start drinking.....I mean wrenching??:p
I am planning to drive Walley so yall can give me some advice and then I can watch/hand tools to yall while you do all this crazy fab/welding stuff that I know nothing about.

I will change the dreaded Pesky Heater Hose on my 80.

Might as well flush and refill radiator and change out thermostat. for starters...

Hopefully Mark will show up with his wild west fab hi clearance lower control arms so I can make a jig for it. You coming Mark?

Samurai steer box is back on and frame is reinforced, so I will be installing new rock assault pump, large reservoir and ram assist hopefully before nov 20 so I can make some more room.

My spare radiator for the samurai is leaking  so I have to fix that before I can put it all back together. will make it easier to swap pump in with rad outa there anyway.

Rob...can we take a closer look at that fuel pump Saturday? Ill bring my spare and if the lines are long enough maybe we can swap it out?

If not I think there are plenty of other projects I want to watch/learn from....like Jrobs anti YARD SALE device...looks good so far!!!

Another great idea from our vp.

Here is what I have:
Years of experience working on every thing from classics to the most complicated BMW's.
Roughly $40k in hand tools and speciality tools for most any job. Including scan tools for the newer stuff.
Chris, I regeared my 80 the weekend before the crawl. It's not too bad.
Did I mention I like working on vehicles? And drinking beer. And driving my truck on rocks. Which reminds me I think my $15 is overdue.
Don't mind helping fellow cottonlanders out even if it means staying up in the wee hours making a truck able to drive home.

I'm bringing something big for a member.

If the schedule works out the member to whom the big thing is being brought may need help unloading the big thing. If that happens then the member will be asking for help and either buying the first round at Cherokee or heating up some coals at the house.

Anyone down for hanging w me and the shunt on Friday pm for a pre wrenching session - session?

looks like i will have to do some pre wrenching session session session before the pre wrenching sessions -session, cause the pre wrenching session-session might slow down the wrenching session progress

Sounds like a plan. I'll be at the shop til 5pm and then head to lenny's house after. Hopefully by then all the absinth I drank in vegas will have wore off. I'm still feeling after effects.
