Mark fender bars will take a little while to do. Mark needs to leave around 4 on Saturday.
I need to finish off the cooling system and ram assist mount on the Zuk.
This will turn eventually turn into a welding / fab class, since a few Cottonlanders have shown interest in learning.
I also hope to get bendtech up & running on my Mac to start some general rendering for Lorena. This could become a fun brainstorming session for an exo for E's 80.

Also need to replace marks lower control arms (LCA) with the wild west LCAs

I am bringing the auxiliary tank as well...if we get to it cool...if not...no worries. I am also going to wire up my Hella Matador work lamp onto the custom bracket IPOR made for me last month. I have a few other projects but, it all depends on time constraints. I am probably going to drive down tomorrow night which will give us a full Friday. I rescheduled my one conference call Friday to Monday...luckily I was requested to do so.

Sounds like plenty to do, just not on multiple rigs, Lenny I may need you to cut my bumperettes off for me.....I haven't tried yet, but I think they are welded to this massive trailer hitch arm I have....doesn't have to be done this weekend though.

Yeah, actually it does sound like alot of work. Sorry I'm missing it.

Mark, if Lenny decides he doesn't want that subtank, I'm interested. IIRC it uses the exact same fuel pump/setup that pulls out of the standard tank...

Eric -

I think you are correct sir. It is the factory sub-tank. I think it is approximately 14 gallons although I have heard most people somehow put 15 in.

Nope. wrench and take lots of pics!

Man that tank is exactly what Lorena needs...
If the stars would align, then Lenny would not want the tank, and i could find a place for the dog to stay this weekend...

Those are the kind of odds and ends type jobs that I like to help with between sitting in a chair, so I'll volunteer to help if Lenny is busy.

NO! I didn't mean that I was just commenting from previous post that there is some work to be done on yours and that Lenny could take his time and have welding/tube bending classes for us non welding types!! And Euclid can "sit by" with a drink ready to put out any flames.

I would love to see that tank worked on since I'm gonna fool with mine next week

I'll document it and post to mud for all not present...I just won't be there for Saturday night....but I don't know that we need EVIDENCE on what goes on after dark anyway

Lenny what time you starting Saturday?

I have a nice pen at my house we keep our dogs in when we go out hunting so they won't follow us. For that matter, your dog can run free we have 10 dogs and none fight...you can leave her here all weekend. No problem.

I am about 15 minutes north of Lenny's house.

Also, if you want to stay with your dog, you can stay in my guest house.

We will start when Mark gets here Friday and won't stop till the fender bars are done and the LCAs are installed at the least. Mark has to leave around 4 on Saturday so we will be concentrating on his rig.
After 4 we can work on other's junk including mine.

Friday will be basic layout and putting fender bar dimensions into bendtech Pro, so they can be repeated if anyone else wants some. It is worth the time to put into bendtech Pro to cut down on waiste. DOM tubing is not cheap. plus we can 'see" what it will look like before we bend any tube.

So it sounds like its turning in to a Fab/welding now Bendtech Pro class. I am no where near an expert in bendtech but its such a cool program and now I got it to work on my Mac :bounce:

If I can't make subtank work, Eric has first dibs. looks like E has options for the doggy. So no excuses E !

sure.

key measurements;
-how far up the ARB brush guard does fender bar start.
-measurement of each bend from the ARB brush guard
-how far is bar from fender and does the distance change throughout length of bar. if it does what is the difference in measurement and where does this take place along the bar.
-length of entire piece. ( from ARB brush guard to slider)

just a few measurements

yall get all the work done:D, we will be there after dark on Saturday.
