Ran into a bit of a hurdle on making the LS430 live. Due to the trailer hitch ball that tore through the hood, driver side headlight, core support, fuse box, engine harness and well, smashed the ECM as well. Apparently the 04 is as oddball as it was the first year of the 6spd auto and uses it’s own unique computer. To save myself from an extremely large expense for a new one from Lexus $1200 plus programming, I’m going to try to save this one as there is still a lot that needs to be done still to see if this car is even salvageable.

I'm not sure if your serious or not, but I have another head for a 22re. Just need to make this work til I can get gaskets sourced and a weekend to do the job.
Don't they make thread repair kits for plug holes? Anybody got experience with those?
